These terms govern your use of the Bevel app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

The app

Bevel is a set of measuring tools built on your phone's own sensors, provided as-is. It reads those sensors in the moment, shows you the result, and keeps your settings on your device.

What the readings are, and are not

Phone sensors are handy, not laboratory instruments. Every reading Bevel shows is approximate: it depends on your phone's hardware, its calibration and its surroundings, and the same phone can read differently on a different day. Bevel is made for everyday jobs, hanging a shelf, finding a stud, checking a post. Do not rely on it where an inaccurate reading could damage something or hurt someone; for structural, electrical, navigational, medical or safety-critical work, use a properly calibrated instrument.

Bevel Pro

Bevel Pro is a single one-time purchase made through the store you installed Bevel from. It unlocks the Pro tools and every skin and sound set, including ones added later. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it stable and pleasant to use, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zone7 Studios Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Where our liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the app or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing here affects any consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
