This page covers the Bevel app and this website.

What Bevel stores

Bevel keeps your settings on your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.

Purchases

Bevel Pro is a one-time purchase handled by the store you installed Bevel from. We never see your payment details. On Google Play, Google's handling is covered by Google's privacy policy. The app keeps an on-device record that Pro is unlocked.

Sensors

Bevel's tools read your phone's built-in sensors and the camera flash, and they do it in the moment. Readings are not stored and not sent anywhere. Which sensors your phone has decides which tools work, and each tool says so up front. On iPhone and iPad the Altimeter asks for Motion & Fitness the first time you open it; that reading is handled like every other, taken in the moment, not stored and not sent anywhere.

Bevel works offline. It uses the network for the store's billing for the one-time purchase.

This website

No cookies, no accounts and nothing to sign up for. We keep no request log for these pages and do not count page views.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles requests on our behalf; Cloudflare's privacy policy describes how it handles data as our provider. Some pages link out to other services such as Google Play, which are covered by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Children

Bevel is a general-audience app.
